Reflex gauges

Reflex gauges give an accurate reading of liquid levels.
Colourless liquids can be seen using the principles of light refraction and reflection through the special prism glass:

Light striking the area of glass covered by the liquid is allowed to pass to the interior of the gauge - this area appears black.

Light striking the area of glass above the liquid is reflected back silver.

The distinct line that separates the black and silver areas shows the actual liquid level in the system.

Simco Reflex gauges are available in Series 1000, Series 2000, and Large chamber Series 500.
Large chamber gauges are used for the measurement of turbulent liquids as they tend to stabilise such liquids for more accurate readings.

Simco Reflex gauges are also available in welding pad form.
Welding pad gauges are an effective way to mount flat glass gauges as an integral part of the vessel.
